Here's some stuff you have to see, it's life changing...

Awhhh <3
MORAL: stay faithful to your pet! even if you think its dead!

MORAL: whales just want to be friends :'(
The full programme is heart achingly bittersweet. Better to have loved and lost a whale than never to have befriended one at all though!

That is all, have a good day y'allllllllll x

I love Harry Potter

Hiyaaa :)

I know I only just wrote here but I'm doing it again because I want to! okay?

I like books! and I like Harry Potter, I'm obsessed.
I traded in the last one for $6 off the 5th one, it was only $14 (about 7 quid)
Here it is in all its glory..

But I can't read it yet kos I'm still reading this..

I recommend!

Even Dan is in on the reading hype...

He got it cheap from the used book shop too! I swear I'll never buy a new book again, used book shops are gold!

After many an attempt I got some flowers and teddy from my mum and dad awwwwh :) aren't they cute.

I said I'd write a review of one year of being with Dan and today is that day but I couldn't really think what to say..
But I saw an episode of Jeremy Kyle on TV this morning and there was this guy who punched his girlfriend in the stomach when she was 3 months pregnant and held a knife to her throat. He then said when she was 8 months pregnant, "Get off your fat ass and get a job"
I'd just like to say that we're a long way from that :)
Hahaha.

We're going for din dins later at somewhere not too expensive but not mcdonalds...
We were gonna go bowling as well but nacho libre is on TV so we're gonna watch that instead haha classy :)

Byyyeeeeeeee :) xxx

Don't forget your tomatoes!

Heeey :)
We moved into a nice cosy little apartment yesterday for the next two months, its cute and I like it..

I like that we got to go do a biggg shop at pak n save aswell, kos we know we're gonna be there for a long while so we got loads of cheap pasta and cheap meat that we can freeze. There's no pak n save in the city centre so we had to get a bus it was about half hour away.
On the way back there was some crazy woman sat at the front, I say crazy usually in a throw about kind of sense but no this time I'm for real she was mad.
We went through a tunnel and she was shouting "WE'RE GOING THROUGH THE TUNNEL WOOOHOO CHOO CHOO WE'RE GOING IN THE TUNNEL GUYS ARE YOU READY?!"
She also had an emotional conversation with the driver about her mothers death which led her to cry. She later realised she'd got on the wrong bus and proceeding to leave but almost forgot her tomatoes (?!) just tomatoes...
"HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE" she said as she left.. awwhhh :/

5 minutes later we found a knife on the bus :/

Anywayyyyy it was really windy the other day and it kept me up all night.. we went out in it

Job hunt is going so bad! I don't know what else I can do, literally everywhere has my CV once, if not three times over and still no replies from anywhere!! I dunno what I'm doing wrong :(

Random Stuff
Here's a list of random stuff thats happened that I can't be bothered to put into any sort of chronological order.

- A crazy drunk at downtown backpackers asked me advise on if he should countine into an affair with the married proffesor he works for. I told him I couldn't comment because what I really wanted to say was your ugly, you smell real bad and your a crack head are you sure she wants to sleep with you really?

- We tagged wicked land on the fridge in their kitchen. Trying to make it global.

- I've finished the last Harry Potter book and now there's an empty hole in my life :/ I'm gonna go exchange it for the order of the phoneix. Saaaad.

- "yeah get down off his WOOF!" - we watched UP! it's actually really funny. I recommend.

I can't think of anything else worth writing about, I know this is not very well wrote but I just ate a big apple and now I feel kind of sick :/ so I'm sorry.
Please come back! I still have to give the "A Year With Daniel Curtis - The Review"

Capital City

Hey we're in Windy Wellington :)
It really is as windy as they say!

Just keeping you updated;

In Taupo we went for the mountain biking/kayaking day. It was really fun, the mountain biking was scary kos I realised I'd never actually done it before and the tracks were scary as hell.
We saw Huka Falls though which was really pretty, but me and Dan got spilt up from each other and I fell into a bush and got some battle wounds haha as always.

Kayaking was awesome was down the only river that flows out of lake Taupo and its the longest in NZ. It was real gentle and not much effort kos the you just went with the flow. We got to stop and watch people bungee from the cliff into the river as well which was really cool.

We were meant to do para sailing the next day but it rained and the wind was crazy so obviously couldn't do it :(

We hit up Wellington on Wednesday after 6 hours on the bus, boo!
It's a really nice pretty place, we've not seen much yet but the waterfront is really nice.

They have the Te Papa which is the big national museum which is free and that was really good.
They had a massive squid they'd caught in all its juices it was about 6 foot long, well freaky!
We made our own squid, couldn't resist..

Here's some other stuff from the Te Papa..

We're staying at the Nomads hostel which has a bar next door so we went there for New Years, it was cool and cheap but they had a big birthday party on and yunno how it is when your a couple of randoms in a bar full of people that know each other. They got a big rowdy too with guys stripping and girls getting wet (with water haha) and dancing on the bar for $1000 champagne. I wasn't up there or you'd be hearing about my broken leg.

At about twenty to twelve we went to the waterfront for the big countdown there were loads of people there and some dancers and musicians but no fireworks at 12 which was stupid! What kind of capital city doesn't have fireworks on new years?

Ahh well, I got no pictures kos I didnt take my camera out but you didnt miss much.
We're in a 8 bed dorm and for some reason it turns out I'm the only girl in there and so obviously it stinks and it gets super hot in there. One guy came in after new years eve at 7am and the next day we came to learn he'd spent 5 hours in the strip club haha so funny!
Everyone left this morning and after hoping for less people or at least some female company. 1 old American guy came in and then 4 younger dudes from the south island. They were telling us that the town they come from has 100 people!? Imagine living in a town with 100 people, everyone knows every ones business! Harsh.

We went down to the beach today for a couple of hours kos it was nice and warrrm. I obviously didn't rub in my suncream well enough kos I've burnt in random patches, I look like a moose!
Dan's burnt down one side of his face as well though so I don't feel such an idiot.
We went New World (NZ's waitrose equivalent) after to get some lunch, their counters crap all over Sainsbury's new counters, they have the craziest selection of food like I had a croissant with ham cheese tomato lettuce and mayo was so nice like proper gourmet type sandwich for $4.70 which is like 2 quid (they don't have a pound sign on these keyboards!) there was hot food you could choose like chicken nuggets and Dan had some brunch cake. They have every different type of cake and pastry and then their salad bar is crazy as well.
Sam Grubb with your love of food you should come check it out.

So that's about it really. We're looking for a flat to rent for the next couple of months here so we can get jobs etc. but I'll let you know how that one goes. We're going to look at an apartment tomorrow to see if its any goooord then we'll decide from there what we do. Sorry theres not more pictures, I'll put some more up when I take some!

Sweet as bro xx
