Me and Daniel went to the zoo for valentines day, he bought me a red panda encounter :)
It was good good fun! They scratched my legs so bad though with their sharp claws but I didn't mind kos they're so cute :) I'd never even seen one before.

I cooked rissoto in the evening, but it was truely not great, the rice was all wrong :/ Dan ate it all though haha.
We rented Eat Pray Love DVD aswell kos I'd just read the book, but it wasn't so great really. Books are always better though aye?

Deano Spumoni

Hey Arnold is on tv!
If you're a fan you'll remember the episode with Deano Spumoni.

In recent days...
I sent off an application to volunteer at the SCPA which is NZ's version of RSPCA, you got to put in order what you most wanted to do, the main stuff was, looking after big dogs, cats and kittens, rabbits and small animals and the puppies! I picked puppies but to be honest I'll be happy to do anything so I also ticked dog walking and gardening haha.

Daniel has kindly booked an animal close encounter at wellington zoo for valentines day! RED PANDAS :D
We're gonna get to feed them and stroke them :) I'm really excited..

So I'm just waiting on my animal hopes for the time being.

I've also decided that Harry Potter must be completed and I have to read them all before I go back home.

I've just asked Dan what else we've done recently so I can keep you updated but he just shook his head and said "I dunno, nothing"

nzi sevens weekend!

It's the sevens weekend in Wellington.
We went to go see the parade yesterday afternoon where all teams were introduced and just starting off the whole celebration type thing..
We would of liked to get tickets but they went on sale in September and sold out in the first 3 and a half minutes so there was never really much chance for us ehh?
It's cool just to be in the city though, theres cheering and stuff in the streets we can hear from our apartment and it's a fancy dress theme so wherever you go theres some people dressed up funny.
On the way here we saw kermit the frog, the kid from kickass, wheres wally and some people dressed in over the top USA gear.. stars and strips hats, trousers etc.
It's really cool though I wish I had something to dress up in just so I could walk the streets and not have people looking at me like I'm crazy.
Each team came up and one person got asked a couple of questions. I love how stereotypical the NZ hosts were.. Wales were late and they said they'd probably stopped at a pub and they asked the scottish about the locness monster. When the english team were leaving they say "tilly pip!" haha.
